"Instant classic"

Snickers came out flying and sent the message early. They jumped out to a four goal lead and Butterfinger was starting to get frustrated and lose focus. A timely goal by Payner and Farbs put Butterfinger on the board late in period one. It was the change in momentum they needed as they climbed back in, generated shots and slowly chipped away at the the deficit.
Action was end to end and could have gone either way. Jay Mac popped one with 2 minutes left to push it to a tie. It set the stage for a clutch championship goal by Martinez with 13 seconds on the clock to complete the epic comeback and championship!! Butterfinger wins!!

What a great game and unreal way to cap the season..

#1 Snickers vs. #4 Twix ...

Snickers outlasted a feisty Twix and the four seed came to play and jumped out early. Eventually a balanced Snickers team out paced Twix and moved themselves into the Championship game! Great playoff intensity in this one.

Heitzy had the hot hand and tallied a trick, and Little Woody also added two nice timely snipes to push a tough Snickers past Twix as we head into the playoff run!

Game was evenly matched for a while and it should be a great playoff matchup..

Game 2: Milky Way vs. Snickers

"Epic Comeback"

Any early lead for Snickers looked liked this game was to be a bit of a gonger. Milky Way showed some serious tenacity and fought the entire way. Singer and The Big Heitzy paced the Snickers attack. Spence, Big Little, and the Brothers Casillas led the long road back for Milky Way. A 5 goal deficit was erased and it came down to drama time with a goalie pull as Snickers hung on for a one goal win.

Game 2

"Battle"

This one came down to the wire as we saw a great GHSL show. Snickers' B Levake pulled a magic trick with two goals in 40 seconds to change the momentum in this contest. The Fingers were lead by J-Mac who opened up the scoring and was a dominant force on this night. "Mini" Farbs and the "Water Bug" Knapp also hooked up for some highlight snipes. It was back and forth action all game, but Butterfinger held on for the victory!! Great first game.
