PLAYOFFS Game 2: Dad Bods vs. Gong Show
"J.A."
This one was nip and tuck as Chaser was holding his own in a solo playoff show. Both teams traded goals and leads for the majority but it was a roof top snipe by Casey, and a two goal spurt by JA, Gooch, and Whits that propelled Demo's crew past the Gong Show. Good 2-3 matchup, but DB hangs on and runs into a hot CP in the Ship!!
MVP - Jack Allen
Both games were gongers so no highlights this week...
Gong Show 14 vs Magic Men 3
MVP - Dino
Playoffs next week!!
Big Fellas Game 1: Gong Show vs Charlie Price
"Gonger"
Gong Show starting to roll as CP had issues generating any sustained offense on this night. Er, Commer and Silky Farr jump started the CP squad, but just too much balance for the Gong Show. Yano, Birdy, Goldy, were all over the scoresheet. Carouchi scored some big momentum goals and tallied the Hat Trick, to earn MVP honors.
MVP- Carouchi
GS-10, CP- 5
FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS
Big Fellas Game 2: Gong Show vs. Magic Men
"Young Gun"
Short benches meant doubling up and players in different spots. Coppy jumped out for the Gong Show and ran the show literally scoring the first 2 and totaling 7!!! Cade was going as well and they were determined not to have another tie ending and bring down the mighty Magic squad.
No Rowe, No Decker, No Capt and it was clear the fellas were out of sync on this night. Kriv kept off the board. It was the line of Little Songer, Lacy and two snipes by Cosenza that gave the Magic Men a spark and some life. Porty ripped a Husky Bomb as well but just wasn't enough. Young legs won out. Magic Men fall hard!!
MVP- Coppy
GS- 8, MM- 5
Big Fellas Game 1: Gong Show vs Dad Bods
"Another Tie"
Great action as these teams battled to yet another tied hockey game that will surely cause havoc in the rankings as we head towards playoffs. It was fueled by a few blasts from the past. Parrone jumped out to lead the Gong Show, but he wouldn't be out done by K Freer and his guest appearance for Dad Bods. It was like watching a Mission throwback show as these two vets helped set the table for another instant classic.
MVP- Parrone and Freer..
GS- 7
DB- 7
Yes another Tie!!

Game 2: Charlie Price vs. Goldy's Gong Show
"Dead even"
Everything from shot totals to no winner thru a shootout round showed how tight this game was. Just a back and forth contest that was a yawner early but picked up intensity as the game moved to the second frame. This game ended in our second tie in two weeks, just showing how things are starting to tighten up. Suttsey makes his debut with a big goal, and Yancy led the attack for CP. Tending was strong both ways in this tight contest.
MVP- Yancy for two snipes..
CP- 6

No winner- tie game!!!
First game of the new season featured Supervets doing their thing. It also featured a few new guys settling into thier first Big City Games. It was back and forth for a while, as the line of Knighter, Goldy, and a newly bulked up Yanovich made some things happen. Big Tess popped one as well, but It was the ASU COMBO of Velasco and "Silky" Farr that did all the late damage and really put this game out of reach. The Brothers Odie, and "Mr.Arizona" Austin Mills provided secondary scoring as well, and the rookie JAACK-NER tallied a big one.
