Playoff 2 Highlights

PLAYOFFS Game 2: Dad Bods vs. Gong Show

"J.A."

This one was nip and tuck as Chaser was holding his own in a solo playoff show. Both teams traded goals and leads for the majority but it was a roof top snipe by Casey, and a two goal spurt by JA, Gooch, and Whits that propelled Demo's crew past the Gong Show. Good 2-3 matchup, but DB hangs on and runs into a hot CP in the Ship!!

MVP - Jack Allen

June 14th Highlights

Both games were gongers so no highlights this week...

Dad Bods 12 vs Charlie Price 4

MVP - JJ and Mighty Casey

Big Fellas Game 2: Dad Bods vs  Magic Men

"Scary Good"

Magic Men are just good, folks. They have established themselves as the favorite with a balanced attack and a lot of puck possession. Many of the same names hit the sheet, but they just keep coming. Demo' s boys showed and played hard but just not enough to run with Magic.

MVP- Aziz and Icecat Manny

June 3rd Highlights (Make up for May 17th)

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

Big Fellas Game 1: Dad Bods vs. Charlie Price

"Ugly"

It was hard to watch at points as short benches and a lot of old guys screeched the pace to a halt. It was the young guns that pushed the pace for Demo's squad and kept me from sleep..B irdy supplied some great early energy. Coppy, Herzy, Chunger, Casey, Whits were all in the action.

A guest appearance by Bolly, rekindled the R Briody magic for a pair.  Millsey was competing hard and Erwin buried a few of his 20 breakaways to make it interesting late. Gavs is old. Eadsey brought a bit of a spark at points.

Smitty was strong going the whole way and Demo put the nail in the coffin to seal the victory for Dad Bods..

Co MVP - Smitty/ Birdy

DB - 9, CP- 6

Big Fellas Game 1: Gong Show vs Dad Bods

"Another Tie"

Great action as these teams battled to yet another tied hockey game that will surely cause havoc in the rankings as we head towards playoffs. It was fueled by a few blasts from the past. Parrone jumped out to lead the Gong Show, but he wouldn't be out done by K Freer and his guest appearance for Dad Bods. It was like watching a Mission throwback show as these two vets helped set the table for another instant classic.

MVP- Parrone and Freer..

GS- 7

DB- 7

Yes another Tie!!

May 10th Highlights

Game 1: Magic Men vs. Dad Bods

"Malki"

Back and forth action as Dad Bods kept pace and were looking to knock off the highly skilled Magic Men. The key was the appearance of secondary scoring, and it was Malki that did a lot of the key damage. His hattrick goal put a dagger in the hearts of the ramped up Bod squad and sealed Magic Men's still undefeated season. Coppy was gunning for Demo's boys in a spirited effort, but MC led his squad to another strong showing.

MVP- Malki for timely goals. Shoutout to Curley as well.

Game 2: Gong Show vs. Dad Bods

"Shootout city"

Dead even game all the way thru as Goldy, Yano, and Birdy did most of the damage for Gong Show. Demo's squad had a balanced attack as Coppy, JA, Whits, and the Mighty Casey all tallied to put this to extra frames. The Judge and Smitty each saw 4 shooters but both shut the door and this thing ended the way it started . Tie game in the books.

MVP Goldy on a big night..

Tie game..

April 26th Highlights

GAME 1: Dad Bods vs. Charlie Price

"Huge Free Agent Pickup"

The deal hit the wire about 2 hours before game time, and it impacted the game big time. Whits gave Demo's squad that extra veteran presence they were missing. JA and Whits teamed up and really stepped up huge in this game giving Dad Bods their first win. Silky and Mark made it interesting down the stretch, but it was Dad Bods' night. Vuk tallies his first goal in big boy play as well.

MVP - Whits

April 19th Highlights

MAGIC MEN vs DAD BODS

"COMEBACK TOUR"

Wearing their Pink jerseys proudly, MC band of talent stepped into this game with swagger and confidence. Supervets Like Ducky and Rowe paced the attack. KRIVILICIOUS was en fuego as well, as the attack never stopped. 41 shots in all and they never let up.

Demo's team kept pace early, but as the game went on they were the team that walked the plank. A  new look Coppy,  SG, and Supervets  JA, and ER kept it close early but the team just saw too much rubber.

The underlying story was the injury comebacks of two individuals. AZIZZER and SMITTY both playing in their first games after long rehab stints, and their effort needs to be recognized. Welcome back fellas!!!

AZIZZER gets sentimental MVP nod as MC team showed balance.
